I hiked 17.2 miles today and I’m staying at Thunder hill shelter. I passed one of the coolest and nicest shelters I’ve seen so far it’s called the Bryant ridge shelter it’s a double decker that can fit 20 people. The shelter I’m staying at is a normal 6 person shelter. I saw an actually cool variety of animals today I saw a cool lizard and a snake with a kinda diamond head so this one might have actually been venomous but it was a little bit off the trail so it’s all good. And I saw a bunch of colorful birds. It’s much harder to take pictures of birds that move around a lot than it is to take pictures of stuff that’s still, obviously. It was super nice today because I was having lunch then the group of people I had been hiking with a while ago came and said there was a campground that did free shuttles to their campground for food so I went and had a cheeseburger, milkshake, and Ice cream for second lunch. It was good food and good rest. It’s lookin like rain tomorrow so it should be fun. But I’m still lookin forward to it.
