So I thought I’d make a post about my trail name. I have been a cocktail fanatic for years. I love the history of cocktails and after a motorcycle accident caused me to be bed ridden for a couple months, it was suggested I tried podcasting. I ran a podcast called Behind The Bar Show and went by Mr. Martini. It took off more than I could have ever expected and I made friends around the world thru it. After moving from SF back to my childhood area of Central Florida, I started bartending full time. I am now an assistant manager at a family owned Bar & Grill. Well, that is until after today. Today is my last day at work. It’s bitter sweet. Anyway, back to the trail name:

I had a dream. I was at my bar really late at night and it was packed. People standing all over the place! I walked thru the swinging doors from the kitchen with my pack on, hands raised in the air and I yelled, “LAST CALL!” Everyone applauded as I walked straight out the front doors and was immediately on trail. I woke up and it was so vivid! I told all my bartenders and servers this dream and they all determined that had to be my trail name. I was “Last Call.” I loved it and decided that’s what I would go by. I’m saying last call to one passion to take on another.
