7/7/21 Another hot and humid day with temps in low 90’s. Thunderstorms predicted and heard lots of thunder but so far missed them. Despite no rain drenched with sweat. Hiked with ridge runner to wind gap which was nice and met George and Sue lovely couple who are thru hiking but skipped about 600 miles to ensure they get to Katahdin. They were amazingly fast hikers although after ridge runner turned around I started out and felt they would pass me but never did. Went by wolf rocks which were nice. Lots of hiking on rocks typical for this part of Pennsylvania. Sleeping in shelter to lazy to set tent up. Tomorrow have short hike into Deleware Water Gap Pennsylvania where I’m staying in town to resupply,shower and laundry and then the next day leave Pennsylvania and enter New Jersey.
