Woke up feeling fresh and ready to hit the trail with Smackdown. We did a long ass day of 24 miles. Still not sure that was the smartest thing because my blisters are killing me slowly. Luckily, vitamin I is helping me out with that.

It was a killer day, the weather was softer than the intense sunshine we have been experiencing. The wind helped by pushing us further down the trail. We ended up at the infamous third gate water cache, where we hung out for a couple of hours with folks coming in and out.

We hopped back on trail and I realized I had the trowel of the guy who I bought the new pack from in my pack. Luckily, he was there with another 12 people at Barrel Spring. Now he’s able to carry on cat holing. One of the hikers fiancé provided pizza and beer for everyone, which was amazing! And ofcourse it was devoured in 5 minutes. Was an awesome way to end the evening.

Also hit 100 miles which feels pretty kick ass!
