Today was my first zero day to recover from my blisters. I cleaned out Walgreens of blister products. Got some light socks to wear as additional protection. A work in progress. I tried to limit my activity today to help the recovery process. Staying at the Hiawasee Budget Motel. David, the Manager has been very friendly and helpful. I scored a shuttle back to the trail in the morning. I've got two days of good weather before Saturday when it is expected to have rain all day. Possible Thunder Showers!
