Hanover is so sweet. Try to check out some of Dartmouth - it's a gorgeous campus. One of the trail angels got me free lunch and showed me around town - I stayed with Karen in Tigger's Treehouse (technically in Etna) - perfect stay

Hanover is great! There is usually a list of trail angels when you first walk into town to get in touch with for places to stay. You walk right through town, including by the food Co-op, which is a great resupply spot. There are lots of restaurants and bars to check out, and usually a handful of freebies offered (check the AT Guide for the current year or talk to your friends). Enjoy!
