Day 49

12.9 miles. Started cold but warmed up with “s’more what” oatmeal topper from sisder. Lots of climbing today but it was pretty manageable. We had awesome trail magic from Scrunch, Sponge, Sparkles and Cato, along with Regan the Golden. Scrunch made awesome breakfast tacos, Sour Patch showed his love by saving me some. Then more ups to Beauty Spot and Unaka Moutnain, with good scenery and views. We did have to tent, but it was a nice night, and I didn’t have to use my headlamp-always a win.
