Day 2

Springer Mountain Shelter to Hawk Mountain Shelter. 8 miles. Beautiful weather. Lunch at 3 Forks-great space for a break. Passes army rangers in training-heard a lot of machine gun fire, Will was able to give a lot of info about what they were doing and was glad to not be in uniform. Ended the day around a fire with other hikers and 2 dogs-Taco the Chihuahua and Tundra the Husky
