Day 78

We climbed through jungle-esque Northern California forests today! The humidity was high, as were the bugs, but the ferns, soft forest floor, and flowers made up for it. We’ll be traveling with views of Shasta for a while now.

The trail has gotten less “easy” and we’re back to hills. Alas! We still plan to hit a 30 tomorrow to make up for yesterday’s insufficient mileage.

So glad it was less hot today.
