We made it to 50! Only 2600 miles to go.
The scenery today was phenomenal: alpine forests and wildflowers leading up to a dry mountain desert with amazing views of the desert stretches ahead of us for miles.
Wind was our nemesis today, paired with pain pretty much everywhere below the waist. We’re falling into a pattern of fast mornings and slow afternoons. Today I started my first audiobook when my feet were giving me trouble, and it gave me the distraction I needed to trot steadily onward.
