Day 15

6 miles

Easy quick 6 mile hike into Fontana Dam for a nero. This is our last resupply heading into the Smoky Mountains. We walked into the Marina and called for a shuttle to take us into Fontana Village. They have a big beautiful lodge there in the town and we’re offering a special hiker rate $80 for a two double bed room so we all piled in. $20 each is a screamin’ deal. We got to do laundry, relax, resupply, drink a few beers and just enjoy the company of each other and the other hikers.
