Hiking the PCT has been a dream of mine since college when I discovered there were national scenic trails. I’ve spent a lot of time in the wilderness as a mountain guide and NOLS Instructor, but this will be my first thru-hike. I’m taking a sabbatical from my work as a flight nurse and disaster healthcare worker. This is about rediscovering me and celebrating a half century of walking this earth.
