I hiked 8.4 miles today. I climbed the mountain and came back down the other side and I decided to call it a day. I’m staying at White Mountain motel for two nights but I’ll slack tomorrow to get some mileage done. The top of Mt. Moosilauke was above the tree line and it was very foggy and very very windy. I had to lean into the wind just to stay upright it was a little bit alarming. I hope and pray that the weather is a little better for the next few days but we’ll see. I’m still not feeling the best I’m not sure what’s going on but its definitely slows me down a little bit. Coming down the mountain was one of the steepest downhills so far it I’m sure there will be steeper stuff later on in the Whites. But I’ll do that just like I did everything else so far. Also I passed 1,800 miles today but I didn’t see the marker because it was on top of Moosilauke so I wasn’t really thinking about it I was just focused on staying upright. I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
