I hiked 21 miles today. It was a pretty tough day mentally it rained pretty much all day until about 4 then it cleared up a little bit. The rain was unexpected I didn’t think it was going to rain til tomorrow but now they’re calling for cloudy tomorrow with a chance of rain in the evening but we’ll see. I’m starting the white mountain National forest tomorrow which is the physically most challenging section of the trail. I’m at Jeffers Brook shelter tonight at mile 1,796 which means I have less than 400 miles left to go. I’m at the bottom of Moosilauke mountain which looks like it’s the longest climb for the rest of the trail. I’m at 1,325 above sea level and the top of the mountain is at 4,802 so yeah it’s a big steep climb. I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
