I hiked 18.8 miles today to get into Pearisburg, Virginia. I’m staying at a cool hostel called Angels rest hiker haven. I got my wash done and I took a shower and I’m feelin good. There were a bunch of nice views today as I walked a couple different ridge lines. It was kinda weird but nearer the end of the day as I was coming down the mountain going towards town the woods went from dead trees to green everywhere quick and it was kinda cool. That’s how it is right now though green in the valleys and still dead and brown up on the mountain. Lunch time today was super nice it was a little chilly today so I went to a shelter for lunch and sat in the sun. The shelter I had lunch at today was really cool because it had a deck built onto it and the deck had benches and a picnic table on it. That’s the first shelter I’ve seen with a deck it was pretty nice. I’m hoping to get some good sleep tonight and probably get a late start tomorrow afternoon sometime. Lookin forward to tomorrow.
