Zero number 3 in Chama (ouch)

Well..... here I sit.

So, my second package did not show up today. The post office was incredibly helpful in doing a final check for me right before they closed as well. So I am not waiting any more. I bought what I needed for resupply and arranged a ride to the trailhead at Cumbres Pass for tomorrow morning. The weather forecast looks really good for the next week. The only potential bad news with the weather is that the high areas are not seeing freezing temperatures at night so the snow areas will be slushy and sloppy. This next segment to Wolf Creek Pass/Pagosa Springs has some snow areas but has been hiked by a bunch of hikers already. The next big decision point will be which route to take after Wolf Creek Pass; that is a decision for later.
